Who we are
A family at a work table
JOYAR is a small family business from Austria. There is no factory behind these pieces and no production line — just a work table, good light, and the people around it.
That is also why no two pairs are quite the same. A hand is not a machine, and we have stopped seeing that as a problem.
How it is made
Bead by bead, by hand
Every pair is threaded by hand: rocailles, fire-polished and faceted glass beads, real freshwater pearls, and gemstones such as amazonite, turquoise, apatite, garnet or black spinel.
The ear hooks are nickel-free 925 sterling silver, some of them gold-plated — chosen so that sensitive ears stay comfortable all day.

Why it matters
Each pair exists exactly once
We work in colour worlds rather than seasons — blue, green, red, pink, purple, metallic, black and white — and in small series such as ARDEN, EILIN, SILVA, AVENA and FERN.
Most designs are made a single time. When a pair is gone, it is gone: what you wear, nobody else wears.
